The Marines have decided that the MV-22 Osprey that crashed on 11 Dec suffered a hydraulic failure before the crash. It is unclear if this was the only cause. The Marines have ruled out a lack of fuel, fuel contamination, an in-flight fire, pilot spatial disorientation, or electrical malfunction as a cause of the crash.--Stephen V Cole
