In recent tests, Germany's new 155mm PanzerHaubitzer-2000 was able to reach a range of 41.8km using South African Assegai base bleed high explosive shells with the Rheinmetall DM72 modular charges (using the maximum of six charges). The PzH-2000 can reach 34km with the standard ammunition designed for the FH70 and 37km with base bleed shells.--Stephen V Cole
