Jordan has ordered (from its own King Abdulla factory) an initial batch of 100 AB3 Black Iris 4x2 Light Utility Vehicles (basically, military dune buggies) to replace ancient jeeps as carriers for TOW missiles, 106mm recoilless rifles, and 12.7mm machineguns. Jordan has also contracted with the King Abdullah factory to convert 20 old M47 tanks into armored repair and recovery vehicles to support the British-provided Challenger-1 tanks.--Stephen V Cole
