The Royal Malaysian Army has ordered a quantity of anti-tank and anti-aircraft weapons from Pakistan for use by its special forces. Included in the deal are $7 million worth of Baktar Shikan anti-tank missiles, which are license-built copies of the Chinese Red Arrow 8. Also included are $14 million worth of Anza-II shoulder-launched anti-aircraft missiles, which are license-built copies of the Chinese QW-1 Vanguard missile (which is itself and unlicensed copy of the FIM-92 Stinger).--Stephen V Cole
