Jury selection has begun in the Miami espionage trial of Mariano Faget, a former US immigration official thought to have leaked secrets to Cuba. Faget insists that he was simply lining up business contacts and deals for his post-retirement business. Undercover FBI agents asked Faget for secret documents to "help a Cuban intelligence officer defect". --Stephen V Cole
