The Last Warrior, a new book by a former CIA operative known only as "Bob", has sent shockwaves through the intelligence community. The CIA has blocked publication of two entire chapters and is expected to heavily censor several others. "Bob" reports that the Muslim Brotherhood had planned to assassinate Syrian President Hafez Assad (while the CIA debated whether to warn him or prepare to take advantage of a power change), that there was a Russian mole in the National Security Council, and that President Clinton ordered drastic cutbacks to operations in Russia and China rather than risk a disruption in relations.--Stephen V Cole
