Colonel Ann E Dunwoody has been selected for promotion to Brigadier General and command of the 1st Corps Support Command (which supports the 18th Airborne Corps). A quartermaster officer who received a direct commission in 1975, she was the 82nd Airborne's parachute officer in Desert Shield and Desert Storm, and was later commander of the Division Support Command of the 10th Mountain Division. --Stephen V Cole
