After some initial reluctance, the Joint Chiefs of Staff and the uniformed military have now fallen into line with the Bush Administration's plan to invade Iraq, perhaps as soon as November. The initial reluctance ended with more intelligence data on what Saddam has been doing (and what forces he has) and with further development of the Bush plan for what to do after we win.--Stephen V Cole
