Britain is studying the idea of using electromagnetic catapults on its two new fleet-sized carriers. The catapults would launch Joint Strike Fighters over a ski-jump bow. While it is expected that the fighters for these ships will be JSFs, there is at least an outside chance for the F-18E, Eurofighter, or Rafale.--Stephen V Cole
