Taiwan has launched the first of a new series of 150-ton stealth missile boats designated as the Kuang Hua-6 class. Taiwan plans to build 30 of these to replace the older 47-ton Hai Ou class. The older Hai Ou types each carried two of the older Brave Wind 1 anti-ship missiles; the Kuang Huas will carry four of the new Brave Wind 2 missiles. --Stephen V Cole
