ARABIAN GULF (Dec. 6, 2015) Aviation Boatswain's Mate (Handling) 3rd Class Sarahkate Barambangan, from Los Angeles, directs an U.S. Army AH-64D Apache helicopter of the 185th Theater Aviation Brigade (TAB), Task Force Pale Riders, to land on the flight deck of the amphibious assault ship USS Kearsarge (LHD 3). Kearsarge is the flagship for the Kearsarge Amphibious Ready Group (ARG) and, with the embarked 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), is deployed in support of maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations.
