Souda Bay, Crete, Greece (July 13, 2006) - The guided-missile destroyer USS Barry (DDG 52) arrives in Souda Bay for a routine port visit. Barry is currently scheduled to participate in the multi-national exercise Sea Breeze taking place in the Black Sea. Nations participating in exercise Sea Breeze 2006 include Georgia, Greece, Turkey, Ukraine and the United States. The scenario-based series of exercises is designed to advance the cooperation of the nations and increase regional maritime domain awareness, maritime security and interoperability.
