Army Soldiers from the 82nd Airborne Division from Fort Bragg, N.C., descend under parachute canopies to earn foreign jump wings Dec. 6 during Operation Toy Drop at Fort Bragg, N.C. Operation Toy Drop is an annual Airborne jump at Fort Bragg in its 11th year hosted by the Army Civil Affairs and Psychological Operations Command (Airborne), and supported by Fort Bragg's XVIII Airborne Corps and the Air Force Reserve Command's 440th Airlift Wing at Pope Air Force Base that gives Soldiers and Airmen the opportunity to help local families in need over the holidays while boosting morale and incorporating valuable training. More than 3,000 Soldiers donated a toy for a lottery ticket and the chance to jump under a foreign jumpmaster, earning them their foreign jump wings. This year, German and Irish jumpmasters will be issuing the commands from C-130 Hercules aircraft during the operation. (U.S. Air Force photo/Tech. Sgt. Jeremy Lock)
