The Ohio-class guided-missile submarine USS Georgia begins to submerge after a port visit to Naples, Italy. Georgia, home ported at Naval Submarine Base Kings Bay, Ga., is on her maiden operational SSGN deployment since converting from a ballistic missile submarine to a guided-missile submarine.
