U.S. 5TH FLEET AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY (Jan. 21, 2015) Sailors remove chocks and chains from an MH-60R Sea Hawk helicopter from the Battle Cats of Helicopter Maritime Strike Squadron (HSM) 73 prior to lifting off the flight deck of the guided-missile destroyer USS Dewey (DDG 105). Dewey is deployed in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility supporting Operation Inherent Resolve, strike operations in Iraq and Syria as directed, maritime security operations, and theater security cooperation efforts in the region.
