IWO TO, Japan (May 13, 2015) An F/A-18E Super Hornet attached to the Diamondbacks of Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA) 102 assigned to Carrier Air Wing (CVW) 5 practices a touch-and-go landing during field carrier landing practice at Iwo To, Japan. CVW-5, part of Commander, Task Force (CTF) 70, is deployed in Yokosuka, Japan, in support of efforts to protect and defend the collective maritime interests of the U.S and its partners and allies in the Indo-Asia-Pacific region.
