Kyrgyz police arrested ten Turkic Uighurs from China, as suspected terrorists belonging to a group called Freedom for Uighurs (FFU). The FFU is thought to be behind a wave of robberies, murders and kidnappings in Kyrgyzstan. In Tajikistan, three policemen were killed in clashes with rebels.
