The Chinese newspaper Jiefangjun Bao has published a stunning series of articles about the Internet. Noting the importance of cyberspace, the newspaper said that attacking a country's information network through the Internet was as much a violation of its sovereignty as an invasion by an Army of tanks, and that spreading dissension via the Internet was the moral equivalent of sabotage and subversion. The newspaper noted that in future, each country will have its own network force that will stand equally beside the ground forces, naval forces, and air forces to protect the country and launch devastating attacks on enemies. --Stephen V Cole
