A Chinese-American businessman, David Dong, arrested in China last September, is accused of running spy networks for Taiwan in China and in the United States. In the last year, China has arrested about a hundred Taiwanese and Chinese and accused them of spying. The usual spymaster is Taiwan. While some of the people arrested probably were spying for Taiwan, others were picked up because security personnel had a quota to fill.
