A car bomb went off in an affluent Bogota neighborhood, killing seven and wounding 42.In the past, when the government allowed drug lords to be extradited to the US, the drug gangs retaliated with bombings and assassinations.  A DC-3 aircraft crashed in southern Colombia. This aircraft is one of several hundred of these 1930s era planes that are still in service. This is the last World War II vintage aircraft still being widely used.
