Shelling across the Line of Control in the past week has left four dead and a dozen wounded on the Pakistani side (which is more densely populated.) In Kashmir, seven rebels and a local politician were killed. The rebels are trying to enforce a province wide strike today, to protest a new anti-terrorism law that went into effect at the end of March.
