 Police arrested a senior leader of the Islamic terror group responsible for the Bali bombing.

A major riot broke out in the capitol of East Timor, where people protested government corruption and the poor state of the economy. Expectations were raised when East Timor became independent six months ago, and people are angry. The violence today killed two people and left several government buildings burned down. There was also looting and random violence. Thirty rioters were arrested.
