 The government is trying to stop religious pilgrims from crossing into Iraq (to visit the many Shia religious shrines in southern Iraq), but is doing nothing to control the movement of terrorists and Islamic radicals crossing the border. While the political struggle in Iran between Islamic conservatives and political reformers continues, few Iranians want to get involved with the Islamic radicals network of training camps and support facilities for Islamic terrorists.
