With the arrival of a final group of 35 Senegalese peacekeepers, the ECOWAS force (known as ECOFORCE) reached its prescribed strength of 1264. A Ghanaian contingent took over from the French on March 15 at Bondoukou. The French forces will be stationed behind their ECOWAS counterparts. - Adam Geibel
