Several incidents between vigilantes and criminals in the capital left thirty dead, including several policemen who tried to interfere. The rising crime rate led to the growth of vigilante action. But now many of the vigilantes are getting organized, often to take on criminal gangs. The organized vigilantes are increasingly getting into turf battles with the police. There is also fear that the organized vigilantes will become political groups, armed political groups.
