 More junior officers, and an aide for former president Estrada, were arrested for complicity in the failed insurrection of army troops. Estrada, himself forced out of office three years ago because of corruption charges, has apparently been supporting dissatisfied groups in the military. Connections have been found between Estrada's staff and the rebellious troops. But the  insurrection as it actually came off was mainly about corruption in the military and government.
