A spokesman for pro-Ravalomanana forces said that military troops loyal to Ralaomanana intended to attack the roadblocks around Antananarivo. The spokesman said the action would be an offensive against the pro-Ratsiraka forces holding the roadblocks. The spokesman told AFP that Ravalomanana intended to bring normal life back to Madagascar by June 26. Several sources report fuel and food shortages inside Antananarivo, so the Ratsiraka roadblock strategy appears to continue to be effective. The pro-Ravalomanana militia forces are now being called the Marc Ravalomanana Support Committee (KMMR, in Madagascan acronym).
