Police raided a training camp for the PKK (Turkish Kurdish Workers Party) 300 kilometers north of Moscow. The camp was also used as a headquarters for a kidnapping gang that went after Turkish, Iraqi and Syrian businessmen operating in Russia. The Turks have long complained about PKK operations in Russia, but the ability of the Kurdish gangsters to bribe the police prevented anything from being done. But police got some heat when the gang kidnapped some people with pull in the government. Russia has decided to halve it's peacekeepers in Bosnia from 11,50 to 600 troops.
