mso-bidi-language: AR-SA"> SRI LANKA received 100+ tons of ammunition and weapons from Pakistan on three emergency flights of a 707 cargo plane after the fall of the Elephant Pass military camp. Pakistan had sent several planeloads of weapons and ammunition to Sri Lanka in the 90s, but stopped the practice due to the high cost. After the three flights by the cargo plane, no more ammunition or weapons arrived by air, but Pakistani freighters have begun making regular runs to Sri Lanka with unspecified cargo.--Stephen V Cole
