Pakistan had sent several planeloads of weapons and ammunition to Sri Lanka in the 90s, but stopped the practice due to the high cost. After the three flights by the cargo plane, no more ammunition or weapons arrived by air, but Pakistani freighters have begun making regular runs to Sri Lanka with unspecified cargo.--Stephen V Cole
