For the second time in two days, a moderate Tamil politician was murdered. It is suspected that hard line separatists with in the Tamil rebel movement are striking back at Tamil politicians who have become moderate, and willing to accept federalism instead of the independence for the largely Tamil (a people native to South India) areas controlled by the rebels.
