The government is increasing its efforts get foreign governments to clamp down on LTTE fund raising efforts. LTTE leaders and supporters living in India, Europe and North America, provide substantial financial, and propaganda, support for LTTE operations in Sri Lanka. Since the LTTE has been declared a terrorist organization, it's easier for the government to get foreign countries to shut down local LTTE
